Devin Herring - The Goldsboro Handyman

Devin started working full time at 16 years old doing construction work for his dad, a general contractor in Wayne county. From 16 until 30, he worked in almost every construction trade out there.
From building turkey houses for Goldsboro Milling, to framing residential homes, and even working as an electrician for some years. At 30 years old Devin decided to serve his country and joined the U.S. Army. He spent seven years in the Army including a tour in Iraq for Operation New Dawn.

After his time in the service, Devin returned back to his hometown of Goldsboro and used his G.I. bill benefits to go to college and receive an associates degree. He then went to work for the City of Goldsboro in the Building and Grounds maintenance department for four years, but after a while he just wanted to do more. Devin quit the city job and started working for a local realty company as an apartment and home maintenance technician where he learned even more about home repairs. He did that for a short time and realized that he had a higher calling and wanted to do more for his community. Devin is a homeowner himself and understands how overwhelming home repairs can be. He enjoys knowing that he can help all his customers with all of those to do lists, no matter how big or small.
